These Tears We Cry

I’ve tried too hard to be myself
Just to be left alone
Never to be afraid of what they felt
To forget the lies and to atone

I’ve waited years to be free
Leave all this madness
For soon I will drive off and flee
This insanity is not endless

I want to forget I want to forgive
Finish this crying of the soul
There is a chance, I know because I believe
My miserable life is taking its toll

Don’t cry your soft tears of pain
For I am here right now, you can hold me
I’m not completely there, but I’ll try to be sane
Don’t be afraid of what I will come to be

In the end, I know I will not fall
This silly little life, is but a game
All in all, it’s just like basketball
There is nothing to be of shame

Wipe your tears of love and let me kiss
We are here now, no one else around
For we are in heaven of bliss
Soft silky skin, becoming into one

I’m no longer a memory
I don’t have to be
For we are here now
Just you and me
